I had set the alarm on my cellphone for a 5 'o clock start, but the Saturday special sleep ignored the alarm till about 7. After getting up the first thing I did was to go up to my babe and apologize for having kept her waiting, but she didn't mind since I also gave her a treat in terms of a cleanup and her new saddle bags. And then i excused myself from her to get freshened up myself.

We were ready by around 8 and we hit the road, we stopped after about 20 odd kms for a photo-shoot. She was excited to see the open roads and so was I.
So majestic, ain't she??!!
We got a few clicks and we were ready to move on and put some miles behind us.
She has taken me under her wing..............
It was an awesome ride all along, the roads were not that crowded and everyone was letting us be by our self, the traffic moved along at its own pace all around us and we moved on soaking in the excitement and basking in the glory of the turning heads. The thump of a bullet is sweet music to the ear, be it a rhythmically challenged or a music-lover.
Destination: Yelagiri
The destination was a beauty too, it was fun just to forget everything and loiter around in an unknown town. Not too many pics taken in the town since we did not feel like doing anything except just look around, the beauty and the simplicity of the place is still there even-though there is a plethora of hotel/lodge/guesthouse/resort and what not.
She was so smooth all along!!!
It was a nice road even the gradient was smooth along the hill, the 14 hair pin bends along the way were nicely done and Trinity and myself thoroughly enjoyed ourselves going up and coming down that beautiful hill.
View along the hairpins
The view at each of the hairpin cannot really be called scary but was breath-taking because of the beauty that it had.
It was sunny but still cold and the place is a must visit for a good break from the daily hum-drum of life. It was fun just to loiter around and then lie around at such a beautiful place.

Shez taking her well deserved break....
So was I................
Hope you had a little fun reading about it, I know I am long way away from becoming a travelogue writer. but hope you liked the start.
Going out with a bunch of biking enthusiasts from office tomorrow to a place called Alamparai/Alambara fort and backwaters somewhere between Mahabalipuram and Pondicherry nestled along the ECR. Will post regarding that trip tomorrow.
Till then, Ciao.
