Hi All,
It has been a long time since I actually used my blogger id to post something. Want to hone my language skills and provide a platform for people who are finding it difficult to live their lives without much of an air of excitement of having done something each passing day.
I am trying to resuscitate this old blog of mine to provide a fun travelogue of me with my babe Trinity, now wait before you start thinking "oh seems like the Matrix chick is making a splash here" Trinity is the name of my babe/sweetheart/darling bike, she is a RE TBTS 350 (for the people who did not get that, it is: Royal Enfield ThunderBird TwinSpark 350CC). I got this baby on the 8th of August, 2011 after a mere 4 months and 10 days wait (and I say mere here because I was told that I would have to wait atleast 8 if not 10 months to get delivery of my sweetheart).
You must be wondering August 8th to now, already a month and a half has passed since I got her and why I decided to start this blogging business this late in the day. There is a reason to it, actually quite a few and I will tell you about a few of them: getting her registered turned out to be quite a problem, the showroom I bought it from did not have a working relation with the RTO that is supposed to handle my area's registrations, they made me run around quite a bit before they could register my sweetheart and then some more time to let me know the registration number, but hey at-least I managed to get a registration number (I say number because I was still to get my RC Book) before my first service which happened after a smooth 800 kms (on 10th September) were clocked on her shiny little odometer.
Still leaves me with half a month to account for right and that was how long I had to wait for the RTO to give me the RC Book and it was no book, just a paper which I believe it would have taken them a few minutes to prepare, but its all fair I finally have all the things i need for starting on a recorded voyage of me and my darling Trinity. Her odometer reads around 1250 kms now, and I am gonna start the romance with a trip to Yelagiri that is a lesser traveled tourist spot between Bangalore and Chennai, I shall post regarding the experience/thrills/excitement of the ride when I am back from the maiden voyage.
Till then, Sayonara!!!

The first post itself has throttled up the expectations for the upcoming ones. I'll be eagerly waiting for the Adventures Of The ThunderBird. Bon Voyage! to you and Trinity.
